We have both been active in our church and community.  Our children grew up in Los Altos Hills.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>I have had the privilege of serving on the town's Finance Committee for nine years, six of them as committee chair. Twice I stood for City Council election (1998, 2000), losing by a mere 40 votes. These activities have given me an excellent opportunity to observe and understand the issues that are important to our town. While I am no longer running for office, I have remained active and interested in town affairs. I am currently serving as treasurer of the Los Altos Hills Open Space Initiative.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>My educational background is Electrical Engineering with an MBA in Finance.
